The Board of County Commissioners generally meets every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Legislative Chambers of the Civic Center, 1819 Farnam, Omaha, NE. The Board of County Commissioners will occasionally hold off-site meetings in the various Douglas County districts at 6:30 p.m. The location and dates of the off-site County Board meetings will be advertised with advance notice.
The next scheduled off-site County Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at Westside High School, 8701 Pacific Street, Omaha, NE in the Little Theater (Room 271). This meeting will replace the previously scheduled County Board meeting in the Legislative Chambers of the Civic Center, 1819 Farnam, Omaha, NE on May 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
There will be no County Board meeting on the following dates:

| January 17 | No meeting - Tuesday after Martin Luther King Day |
| February 21 | No meeting - Tuesday after Presidents Day |
| March 6 | No meeting - National Association of Counties Conference |
| April 10 | No meeting - Tuesday after Good Friday/Easter Sunday |
| May 15 | No meeting - Primary |
| May 29 | No meeting - Tuesday after Memorial Day |
| July 3 | No meeting - Tuesday before 4th of July |
| July 17 | No meeting - National Association of Counties Conference |
| August 21 | No meeting - Committee meetings optional |
| September 4 | No meeting - Tuesday after Labor Day |
| September 18 | No meeting - Committee meetings optional |
| October 9 | No meeting - Tuesday after Columbus Day |
| November 6 | No meeting - Election Day |
| November 20 | No meeting - Week of Thanksgiving |
| December 18 | No meeting - Christmas holiday |
| December 25 | No meeting - Christmas holiday |
The last County Board meeting for 2012 will be December 11, 2012, and the first meeting of 2013 will be January 8, 2013.
