Occasionally the Sheriff's Office may have extended registration hours for sex offenders to report for verification months.  The next scheduled date is: Wednesday April 11th 8am - 6pm. State of Nebraska Sex Offender Registry Search Any person subject to the Sex Offender Registration Act is required to report in person to the Nebraska State Patrol Troop A Headquarters, 4411 S. 108th St., for the purposes or registration within three (3) working days after becoming subject to the Act.  All initial registrations must be conducted at NSP Troop A Headquarters, not at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Changes to a sex offender registrants address must be made at the Douglas County Sheriff's West LEC, in person within three (3) working days before the change.  Changes to internet, email, and social network information must be made within 24 hours after a change.  All other information must be made within three (3) days after the change.  All changes must be completed in person. All periodic verifications, changes of information and 30 day transient updates must be done in person within three (3) working days of the change at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, 3601 N. 156 St. Registration hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. No registrations are done on Fridays between 11 am and 12:30 pm.
